Privacy policy

Working draft, to be reviewed by a lawyer before any public launch.

What you should know first

Your collection, your purchase prices and your photos are private by default. They are never sold, shared, or used to train a model. You can export and delete them at any time.

Data processed

Account: email address, display name, language, display currency, plan. Collection: declared cards, quantities, conditions, locations, purchase prices, photos you upload. Usage: technical logs, requests sent to HobbyStage AI. Billing: payment identifiers held by our provider, never by us.

Purposes and legal bases

Running the service and your collection: performance of the contract. Billing and accounting duties: legal obligation. Newsletter: your consent, withdrawable in one click. Security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest.

Retention periods

Account and collection: as long as the account exists, then thirty days after deletion. Technical logs: twelve months. Newsletter consent records: three years after the last contact. Accounting records: ten years, as the law requires.

Recipients

Your collection is stored with the host named in the legal notice, which makes no other use of it. No payment provider is active today; the email service and the payment provider will be named here before being switched on.

Artificial intelligence

A request sent to HobbyStage AI is passed to the model provider to answer it, then kept in your journal, which you can read, export and erase. Your data is not used to train any model.

Your rights

Access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Exporting your collection is available directly in the app. For anything else: contact@hobbystage.fr. You may also contact your data protection authority.

Cookies

Only cookies needed to run the service — sign-in and security — are set. No analytics, no advertising trackers. Should analytics ever arrive, they would stay refused by default and wait for your agreement.

Analytics declined. You can change this from the privacy policy.

Contacting us about your data

For any question about your data, to exercise a right or to object to processing, write to contact@hobbystage.fr. A reply is owed within one month. The publisher acting as data controller is named in the legal notice. No data protection officer is appointed to date: that appointment is only mandatory in specific cases, and it depends on the publisher’s activity. Should it become mandatory, or should it be decided, the officer’s name and address will be given here. You may also refer the matter to the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.

Newsletter: what is collected, and what for

The letter requires no account. Everything is optional except the address, and every field has a use — if it had none, it would not be asked.

What is never asked for the letter: no phone number, no postal address, no date of birth, no income. Such data does not serve a monthly letter, and collecting without a use is a compliance failure.

You unsubscribe in one click from any email. You can also ask for your address to be permanently deleted: it disappears, and only its fingerprint is kept so you are never re-subscribed by mistake.
